It’s no secret that I love to watercolor and these watercolor tags were so simple to create with the awesome new paints designed by Ann Butler for Emerald Creek. What sets them apart from other watercolor paints is that they have a beautiful shimmer and they are heat set paints. You can use them on a variety of surfaces and once they are heat set they become permanent. Even on fabric! That’s a #10 in my WOW factor! Once you try them I know you’ll agree. Lisa~

Step One:

Using a die cut machine, cut out the tag from white cardstock. With scissors, cut the blue tag 1/4″ larger. Repeat with the purple cardstock.

Step Two:

Stamp the images on the tag using a permanent black inkpad.

Step Three:

To finish the tag, watercolor the stamped images with a water brush or paintbrush and water. Adhere the layers together with tape runner. Attach the label to the tag with foam tape. Punch a hole in the top and attach fibers. NOTE: If you would like full instructions on the other two tags, you can find them in the Spring issue of Bella Crafts Magazine.
