The steps are easy so let’s get started with the first Stenciled Americana Card…

Steps One, Two, Three:

Tape the Fleur de lis Squared stencil onto cardstock and begin inking with Powder Blue using a blending brush.

Blend the center of the stencil with Blue Denim and the bottom corner with In the Navy. Be sure to blend the colors together. Check out my video showing the process here.

Remove the stencil.

Steps Four, Five, Six:

Decide what area of the design you want to use for the card and die cut with stitched die.

Wrap a piece of Sheer Red Organza Ribbon at the botton third of the stenciled cardstock, attaching the ribbon on the backside. Layer onto the Red Scalloped cardstock and glue to a card base.

Stamp and die cut Hello on white cardstock. Attach to the ribbon and add a small bow as shown.

Now for the second Stenciled Americana Card…

Steps One, Two, Three:

Tape the Lots of Dots Stencils onto cardstock. Blend three shades of Red ink starting withRed Hot in one corner and working diagonally with Red Velvet and ending with Cherry Red.

Remove the stencil. You can see the slight color variation, in this picture the lightest color is in the bottom left.

Decide what area of the design you want to use for the card and die cut with stitched die. Cut ribbon to fit around the front and back of the card base.

Steps Four, Five, Six:

Attach the ribbon on the back side of the card base.

Add foam tape as shown, this will make the card pop up just a bit and it will not be uneven where the ribbon is wrapped around the back.

Peel the foam tape and layer onto a Blue Scalloped cardstock.
