Hello dear friends! Martha Lucia here to start the year with you in the best oriental style. As you know I love stamping techniques and today I am sharing with you a quick tip to create an oriental style in your stamping creations.

STAMPING WITH ORIENTAL STYLE

To make this card the process is simple. You need the usual materials, the card stock for the base and layers and the stamp or stamps. I used a Thanks die cut like a sentiment, but you can use a stamp sentiment if you want.

The first thing I did was to stamp the main images over a Whisper White card stock using a very clear classic ink. In this case I used the sahara sand of Stampin Up. I combined two different flowers from the same stamp set to create one unique piece.

Then I started to color the flowers with Copic Markers and I decided to enhanced the colors with colored pencils. I love to combine markers with pencils!

After this, I inked again my flowers stamps using Versamark Ink and using the MISTI I stamped in the same place that I stamped the first time. I covered the versamark with Gold Embossing Powder and melted this with the heat tool. If you don’t have the MISTI, you can use the stamp-a-majic too.

I enhanced the color in some parts and created the layers of the card.  Also I cut the word Thanks twice, one in gold foil and the second in the same color of the card base to create a contrast. I pasted these a little moved to create dimension over the stamped flowers and added some little blue sequins to give more shine.

The best tip from this technique is that you need to use gold embossing powder after coloring the images. This will help to keep the permanent shine that the oriental style has.

I hope you enjoyed my project. You can see more of my creations in my blog Stampartpapel. See you soon!!!
