You are going to love creating this quick & easy gift bag with sublimation products from Artesprix. If you haven’t tried sublimation because you think it’s too difficult, let me ease your mind. This project is as easy as stamping a card. Using your own stamps and stamp pads from Artesprix, you stamp out your design onto a piece of regular copy paper and heat set it onto the bag. I love this technique so much and I know you will too! I hope you give it a try. Have fun! Lisa~

Supplies for Sublimation Gift Bag

Step One:

Cut a piece of copy paper 4 1/2″ x 5″, the size of the bag under the draw string. Start with the red stamp pad and stamp the poinsettias on the copy paper. Repeat with the yellow and green stamps pads as shown.

Note: The colors of the sublimation stamp pads will appear darker and duller until they are heat set. Also, the stamp pads will only work on sublimation blanks like this bag.

Step Two:

Place a piece of cardstock inside the bag. Next, lay the stamped paper on top of the bag and secure it with heat resistant tape. Cut two pieces of protective paper larger than the bag.

Step Three:

Now you are ready to create the “sublimation sandwich”. Lay the sublimation mat on your work surface, followed with a piece of protection paper, the bag, and the other piece of protective paper.

Step Four:

Set the heat press to four hundred degrees for forty five seconds. Place the heat press on top of the the project and leave in place until it’s done. Remove the heat press and set it aside. Carefully pull everything off of the mat and remove the papers from the bag to reveal the design. To finish, remove the cardstock from inside of the bag. Attach the floral stem and the poinsettia with a glue gun.

Note: All of the items will be very hot when you remove the heat press. Use caution when working with the heat press and other supplies.
