The steps are easy so let’s get started…

Card Steps One, Two, Three:

Grab your desired cardstock and ribbon. I love that so many of the Gwen Studios Ribbons come in assortment packs. I was not sure if the light blues or the navy ribbon would work best with this cardstock so I grabbed both.

Die cut card pieces.

I hate to waste beautiful cardstock so I layer my dies to get two for one. Since the larger piece will have layers on top and will only show the edge.

Card Steps Four, Five, Six:

Attach the stitched/scolloped die cut piece to an A2 card base.

Layer a piece of 3 3/4″ x 5″ white card stock on top of card base.

Adhere ribbon to the center back of 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ patterned cardstock.

Card Steps Seven, Eight, Nine:

Wrap ribbon around the front and attach the other side to the back.

Adhere to the card base…the photo shows the ribbon near the bottom but I did not like it so moved it to the middle of the card, but did not get a photo.

Stamp or print out “Happy Mother’s Day” onto a piece of white cardstock. I chose to try different fonts on my computer and printed them out.

Card Steps Ten, Eleven, Twelve:

Make a small bow from ribbon.

Trim sentiment to 2 1/2″ x 3 7/8″.

Attach sentime to center front of ribbon with foam tape. Then, adhere bow on the left side.

Tag Steps One, Two, Three:

Stamp or print out “Happy Mother’s Day” onto a piece of white cardstock. I chose to try different fonts on my computer and printed them out.

Die cut with a Tag die, or cut into a tag shape.

Cut a piece of ribbon and adhere to the bottom of the tag.

Tag Steps Four, Five, Six:

Attach a second ribbon down the left side of tag.

Make a small bow and blue to the front where the ribbons cross.

Add some twine at the top.

The possibilities for creating Tags & Cards with ribbons are endless.
