This Mason Jar Pin Cushion makes a great gift so be sure to make extras when you have your supplies out.
I created this for Valentine’s Day but it can easily be created for every day simply by changing the fabric.
Steps One, Two, Three:
Gather your supplies.
Cut a piece of fabric about 5″ square, Place a small amount of Fiber Fill onto the wrong side of the fabric.
Place the lid for the jar on top of the Fiber Fill.
Steps Four, Five, Six:
Apply a generous amount of glue to the lid and attach two corners of the fabric.
Continue gluing edges to the lid, tucking the Fiber Fill in as needed, adding more if necessary. Place inside the rim. Let dry.
Cut 2 felt hearts about 1 1/4″.
Steps Seven, Eight, Nine:
Place felt hearts together and stitch around the outside, leaving a small opening.
Place Glasslets into heart filling nearly to the top. Stitch opening closed.
Make a loop at the top with the floss.
Step Ten:
Fill jar with buttons. Wrap ribbon around the rim, attach the Glasslet Heart and tie a bow. Add a bit of glue to secure the bow.
