While I was creating this Groovy Interactive card I couldn’t help but think of my childhood, especially with all of the fabulous colors in the patterned paper pack and the awesome Volkswagen Van from Dare 2B Artzy! I hope you create a card with these products and you have as much fun as I did. Have a Groovy good time! Lisa~

Steps One, Two, Three:

To begin, stamp the images on white cardstock with a black inkpad. Color the images with watercolor pencils and then, accent the images with a white paint pen.

Using the matching dies, cut the images out. Next, on white cardstock, die cut the pieces for the picture changer. Die cut the square with patterned paper and the tab from pink cardstock .

Stamp the images as shown.

Steps Four, Five, Six:

Color the images and apply the yellow and pink ink with a blending brush.

Turn the larger piece over and fold on the score lines. Adhere the folds on the sides together with 1/8″ double-sided tape to create a barrier on each side for the slider. Place the handle of the smaller piece through the slot. Turn both pieces over and starting from the bottom slot, weave the “arms” of the larger piece into the slots. Once all four “arms” are in each slot, fold the top piece down and apply tape on each side to close.

Die cut the handle out with green cardstock and adhere it to the handle.

NOTE: When adhering the sides together be careful not to get any adhesive on the slider piece.

Steps Seven, Eight, Nine:

Stamp the pink tab and adhere to the top of the handle. Cut a piece of patterned paper 3″W x 4″H and then, cut a square 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ from the center and adhere it to the picture charger piece.

Adhere the frame on top of the patterned paper.

To finish, create a base card from burgundy cardstock 6″ x 12″ and fold in half. Attach a piece of patterned paper 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4″. Trim some of the word borders from the patterned paper and glue to base card. Using foam tape, attach the the picture changer piece and the stamped images to the card. See finished photo for placement.
