It’s no secret that my favorite holiday is Halloween. When my kids were growing up, we had so much fun decorating and making things for our little parties. My daughter has taken up the tradition with her kids and I know that this Ghouls Having Fun Goodie basket will be something they’ll be making for their own parties. I absolutely love watching my grandkids having as much fun as my kids. The tradition continues! What types of projects do you enjoy creating for Halloween? I hope you try this one. Have fun~ Lisa

Step One:

Stamp the ghoul images with the different color inkpads on white cardstock.

Step Two:

Die cut the ghouls. Next, die cut the BOO with the spider from patterned paper and die cut the basket four times from patterned paper.

Step Three:

I wanted the basket to be a little taller, so instead of folding it along the score lines on the bottom, use a ruler and stylus to score 1/2″ from the bottom of each piece. Fold the flaps on the sides and adhere them all together to create the basket. Cut another piece of patterned paper 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ and adhere that to the bottom. Slide a piece of ribbon through the slots and tie a bow in the front.

Step Four:

Stamp the tree image with black inkpad on the white cardstock. Cut the tree from the right side off completely. Cut the other two trees out and fussy cut each one. Adhere the two pieces together to create one solid tree.

Step Five:

Once the tree is cut out and glued together, peel the backing off of some different sized googly eyes and adhere to the tree.

Step Six:

Add the googly eyes to the ghouls. Cut three 10″ skewers in half and adhere them to the backs of the ghouls and the tree with a glue gun. Stamp the word image with black inkpad onto white cardstock and cut out. Attach the image to a piece of 3″ x 1 1/2″ of patterned paper and adhere the last skewer to the back. To finish, adhere the BOO and spider die cuts to the front of the basket. Add some paper raffia to the inside, place the stamped images into the basket and add some candy or other goodies.
