If you’re looking for a fun, summertime card to create, this card is for you! By adding layers with the stamped images and a little bit of Diamond Glaze on parts of the card, you can turn an ordinary card into something special! I hope you give it a try. Crafty hugs, Lisa~
Steps One, Two, Three:
Stamp the gnome image twice on a piece of White cardstock with a Black inkpad.
Use watercolor pencils to color one image completely, and the hats, watermelon, and the drink on the second piece of cardstock. Spray the images with a clear sealer.
Cut out the images as shown in the photo #3.
Steps Four, Five, Six:
Add Diamond Glaze to the heart on the hat, the watermelon, and the drink, let it dry. On the 2nd hat, apply three Enamel Dots down the center. Adhere foam tape to the backs of the cut out pieces.
Cut a piece of White cardstock 5″W x 4″H. Place the cardstock into the Embossing Envelope and run it through the Big Shot. Using a blending brush, apply color to the cardstock, starting with the lightest color of green first.
Cut the papers as follows~ Tan card base 6″W x 5″H, patterned paper 6″W x 5″H, Pink cardstock 5 1/4″W x 4 1/4″H, White cardstock for sentiment 3 1/4″W x 1/2″H. Adhere all of the layers together. Next, lay the full image on Pink cardstock and cut out leaving a small border around the image. Adhere both pieces together, and then to the card.
To finish, attach the cut out images to the full image on the card. Stamp the sentiment onto the White cardstock with a Black inkpad. Attach some Enamel Dots to the sentiment. Adhere foam tape to the back and attach it to the card.
