This is one of those cards that look hard to make, but it’s really easy! The beautiful flourish background stamp was designed by Ann Butler for Unity Stamp Co and her brand new embossing powders by Emerald Creek, take this card to a whole new level. The zipper die adds a nice little pocket for the die cut florals. And the bonus? It takes less than an hour to make! I really hope you give it a try. Have fun! Lisa~

Step One:

Cut the lavender cardstock 4 1/4″W x 5 1/2″H. Using the VersaMark inkpad, stamp the image on the cardstock.

Step Two:

Sprinkle the embossing powder covering the image. Shake off the excess powder and pour it back into the package. Heat set the image with an heat tool.

Step Three:

Place the zipper die on top of the cardstock with the notches on the die right above the cardstock. Run both pieces through a die cutting machine. Die cut the zipper pull on a piece of lavender cardstock a little shade darker.

Step Four:

Cut the base card 4 1/2″W x 5 3/4″H with the fold on the top of the card. Adhere the lavender cardstock to the base card along the edges and the bottom, leaving the zipper part open.

Step Five:

Die cut the florals from different patterned papers. Die cut them again from white cardstock. Adhere the pieces together.

Step Six:

Stamp the word image onto a piece of grape colored cardstock with the VersaMark. Sprinkle the embossing powder covering the image. Shake off the excess powder and pour it back into the package. Heat set the image with an heat tool. Fussy cut the image out, adhere it to a piece of yellow patterned paper and cut it out again. Cut a piece of green wire 5″, curl it around a paintbrush and adhere to the image with a glue gun.

Step Seven:

Cut a piece of green ribbon 4″, adhere it to the card, and adhere the leaves first. Apply two layers of foam tape to the yellow flower and one layer to the other flowers. To finish, apply the zipper pull with foam tape. Tuck the wire on the word image inside the zipper part and adhere it with a gun glue. See finished photo for placement. Add a little bit of sparkle to the flower centers with a glitter pen.
