Colored Classlets Mason Jar Candles
While I created these for the patio they would also work well throughout the house…but always remember to never leave a burning candle unattended.

Step One:

Pour 1/2 – 3/4 cup of the Glasslets into a plastic zip bag. Add one drop of Earth Safe Finishes Pigment, in the color of your choice. A little pigment goes a long way, you can always add more. Zip the bag closed and mix the Glasslets and pigment together.

Step Two:

Pour Colored Glasslets out onto a tray covered with wax paper, foil or plastic wrap.

Step Three:

Use a craft stick to move the colored glasslets around the tray, creating a thin layer.

Step Four:

Let the Colored Glasslets dry. I brought them outside and let them dry in the sun.

It was so easy Coloring Glasslets that I did several colors…oh the possibilities!

Step Five:

Once the Colored Glasslets were dry…I placed them into Mason Jars and added a Citronella Votive Candle to each, perfect for keeping the bugs away on the patio! Then tied a bit of Raffia on the top to finish them off.

I could not stop there with the Colored Glasslets…check out these shells I found at the beach in St. Petersburg FL…I have always wanted to make them into candles! I simply added some Colored Glasslets and a tea candle…oh so easy!
