We are so excited…All of the details for the BellaCon 2024 Crafty Event is falling into place.

We wanted to share some details ahead of registration so that you have all the info and can register with ease. Today’s post shares all of the instructors with you.

The BellaCon 2024 Retreat is a 4 day Virtual Crafting Event which will be held April 17 – 20, 2024, with several of the instructors in one loacation. We have added more instructors and more workshops this year and are so excited!

What makes this BellaCon Crafty Event unique is that each registered attedee will have access to all the workshops not just a selection of them. BellaCon 2024 will features 20+ Classes, Quick Projects, Tips & Tricks, Crafty Challenges, and a Q&A time with the instructors. There are many amazing people and companies that are supporting this event with their time, talents and amazing products…we are beyond grateful!

Our confirmed instructors are:

Eileen Hull

Eileen is a maker, teacher, influencer and creative community builder. She licenses her art with leading craft manufacturers, including a 15 year partnership with Sizzix, resulting in hundreds of innovative die designs.

Eileen educates her community (and anyone else who will listen!) on how to use her products on twice-weekly interactive livestreams, social media posts featuring inspiration by her talented design team and on line workshops and events.

Her favorite creative adventure was purchasing Scotty, her vintage trailer, on eBay and outfitting it as a mobile studio in 2013. She travel taught throughout the US and Canada, logging 62,000 miles through thirty-five states. Eileen continues to teach in stores, at retreats, trade shows and events and is always looking for new places to share her love of creating.

Eileen has been featured in Where Women Create, Creative Scrapbooker and many other magazines and has authored six books.

Julianna Alvelar

Julianna is an Award-Winning Innovator, Business Development Expert, Best Selling Amazon Author, Product Developer and Social Media Micro Influencer, she has turned millions on to the joys of creating with arts and crafts materials from all over the world. Julianna’s sincerity, compassion and genuine enthusiasm for the creative arts have built a loyal viewing and shopping audience for over 25 years. She became a household name through her thousands of appearances on shows such as Aleene’s Creative Living, The Carol Duvall Show, Home Shoping Network and more.

In 2019 Julianna launched the Wisdom WarriorÔ collection of beading and fiber looms on the Jewelry Television network. The line was a huge hit with sell outs and continues to flourish on her ecommerce site JewelLoom.com

Julianna also known as “Jewels” to friends and family is “momma” to Josh and Marlin Brando her constant companion Frenchie.

Amanda Stevens

Amanda Stevens is one of the founders of Pear Blossom Press, a company focused on offering unique and innovative products for papercrafters. As a long time crafter, she has worked with all types of mediums across many genres, but her favorite of all is papercrafting. She especially loves interactive cardmaking. She also enjoys taking tools and techniques from other fields and developing them specifically for papercrafts. When she isn’t teaching in person, or through videos, she is busy developing new products.

Miss Tracy

Tracy loves all forms of Creative Play! She is a Maker at heart and believes that Creativity is truly good for the mind, body and soul. Best of all though… being Crafty & Creative brings her SO much Joy!

She has made it her mission to share that Joy with others through her Online Workshops, Creative Kits, and Specialty Membership Groups. She wants to inspire you, educate you, encourage you, and help you to create with confidence…. And feel JOY while doing it!

Susan Tierney-Cockburn

Susan Tierney-Cockburn, is a licensed artist with Spellbinders Paper Arts.  Her background encompasses extensive gardening eduction through her grandmother and mother; tagging along to their gardening clubs and hearing how they shared their stories with each other.  She has been designing three dimensional flowers in paper for over 25 years, first in craft punches and the last 15 years, with evolving of dies in our industry.  I love nature and enjoyed sketching it from a tree house my brothers and I built on my grandparents property where my parents built a home after my father retired from the Navy.  I’ve lived in several states since my marriage and with house #17 here in Raleigh, North Carolina I hope will be our last.  As a gardener, I would say, “I’ve experience the different growing zones,” and the wide range of flowers I design emphasizes this.

I’m a teacher at heart and love that crafters have not only learned new flowers from me, but their botanicals terms.  When you craft with me, be prepared for the stories of the flowers you will create!

Sara Naumann

Sara Naumann’s mantra is: Let’s make it easy! Through her books, blog, videos and television appearances, Sara’s goal is to make paper crafting and resin jewelry techniques easy and accessible for crafters of all experience levels. She’s a Bella Crafts author of two books on stamping (Sara’s Stamping Techniques, and Sara’s Embossing Techniques), and teaches online at Paper Wishes. She’s the author of Resin Jewellery and Modern Resin Jewellery, both published by Search Press. She also designs stamps and stencils for PaperArtsy, a UK manufacturer.

Sara is an American designer who creates from her home studio in Germany. When she’s not designing, writing or dreaming up new classes, she volunteers with the American Women’s Club and negotiates screen time with her tween daughter.

Rita Barakat

Rita Barakat is a published and licensed artist who creates whimsical, fun and inspirational art. Her preference is mixed media, not wanting to be tied down to one medium or style. From murals to itty bitty minis, Rita has worked on numerous art projects for hospitals, corporations, families, and manufacturers. She is an educator and designer. She works with many notable manufacturers in the Creative industry. She has written and illustrated an adorable paper mixed media doll book called Magical Theatre: Create and Play with Movable Dolls!  

Rita, her husband, and five kids reside in the Dallas area. When she is not making art or hanging out with her kids, she is leading the worship team or working with her husband as the youth pastor at their church.

Cindy Shepard

Cindy Shepard is an Experimental Artist and a champion of creative arts of all genres. As a three term city council member in Hurst, Texas she works to promote the arts in her community. Cindy has served with a local arts nonprofit and was the owner of an art gallery featuring local artisans. She is the author of ‘Bottle Art’ and ‘Stash and Smash:Art Journal Ideas’. A Certified Zentangle Teacher she co-authored ‘The Beauty of Zentangle’ and ‘Zentangle12’, her Zentangle art has been featured in numerous publications.

Cindy began her creative journey as a jewelry maker and designer and earned her Graduate Gemology degree from the Gemological Institute of America.  She loves sharing her creative journey with others and has taught numerous art workshops in all types of media.

Julie McGuffee

Julie McGuffee is originally from Englad and has been professionally involved in the Arts & Crafts Industry since 1988.  She hosted Scrapbook Memories TV show for 15 years and has appeared as a guest and guest host on numerous other craft shows over the past 20+ years, including popular shopping channels.  

As an all-round crafter/designer, Julie has authored over 50 “how to” craft books on a wide variety of crafts ranging from Decorative Painting to silk ribbon embroidery. She now works with leading manufacturers on product development, marketing and project design.

Jean Kievlan

Jean Kievlan has been designing in the Creative Industries since 1998.  She has written over 200 “How-To” Craft books and has had numerous published projects in many areas including painting wood, home decor and fabric items, children’s and baby accessories, scrapbooking, jewelry and quilting.  

She has developed products for manufacturers, including the successful Babyville Boutique line of Diaper Sewing Products for Prym Manufacturing, a line of paper punches for McGill Inc. and wood parts for Lara’s Crafts/Woodworks. As Design Coordinator for Kitchen Brand Products, Jean designs the fabric Tortilla Warmers that are sold in HEB grocery stores in Texas and other regions.  

Jean enjoys gardening, quilting, fashion sewing, acrylic and watercolor painting and making a variety of craft projects in her spare time.

Erin Reed

Erin Reed is a fun and energetic craft video personality.  She creates short and long-form videos for all social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and Facebook for both her channels and her partner company channels. Erin has created numerous tutorials, digital downloads, and hosted retreats for all types of projects ranging from kid’s crafts, papercrafts, home decor, DIY, card making, scrapbooking, and general crafts. 

Christie Troxell

Christie Troxell is the gregarious glitter guru, party queen and hyper-creative force behind Ritzy Parties and The Society of Wildflowers Conference. With over three decades of experience in creating captivating events, home accessories and seasonal decor, Christie delights in creating immersive, over the top art and occasions, consistently delivering the WOW factor. 

Pam Fischer Hughes

Pam Fischer Hughes is a retired Labor and Delivery RN, educator, manager, and nursing consultant. Born in Phoenix, Arizona and raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas, she received her degrees in nursing, English, and education at Tarrant County College and The University of Texas at Arlington.

Pam is a wife, the mother of twin daughters, and the grandmother of two beautiful young women. She and her husband retired and just recently moved back o TX to be near family.

Her interests now include travel, sewing, crafting, photography, flower arranging, and, at the age of 74, she has completed her first book on crafting. Pam started a Facebook Group a few years ago to share her love of Rope Baskets, currently there are nearly 55,000 in the group. She says that life is a blessing and should be lived to the fullest, and gives credit to God for all that has been good in her life

Shawn Mosch

Shawn Mosch has owned a Cricut since 2008. She quickly fell in love with all of the amazing things that she could create, especially Disney projects. Over the years, that turned into her sharing her projects and tutorials with others online. If you have owned a Cricut since the early days of using cartridges, you might know the site her family created called MyCutSearch, which allowed you to search for images found on Cricut cartridges.

Crafting was always a hobby for Shawn.  It was not until 2020, with the encouragement from friends and family that she decided to launch the own website.

Now Shawn coaches others how to use their Cricut by focusing on teaching them to really understand how the Design Space software works so they can create anything they can imagine!

Sarah Clark

Sarah has over a decade of experience in the art of crafting. She specializes in creating beautiful and unique pieces using a variety of materials. Her creations range from custom vinyl projects and sublimation to handmade cards and personalized gifts. She is a Silhouette Licensed Instructor and one of the top Silhouette troubleshooters in the world. Sarah is also one of the first testers and users of the Siser Juliet cutting machine. She helps 1000s of people with issues each week.

Chantal Johnson

Chantal Henry Johnson loves Jesus, her husband (Scott) of 37 years, her children, her grandchildren and, of course, Texas. She is an artist and author whose multimedia creations have been featured in magazines, but what she loves most about her art is that it brings people to Jesus. As a Bible study leader and writer, she weaves her love of art, the written word, and God’s word together to create beautiful reminders of His love for us. Blessings Beyond the Page is her first Women’s Bible study publication.

Lisa Rojas

Lisa Rojas is a designer and instructor for the creative industries. Her designs been featured in magazines, manufacturer trade show booths and websites. She has been creating and teaching workshops for the past 20+ years.

Lisa’s love of crafting has always been with her, it brings back fond memories of time spent with her mother crafting projects for a yearly bazzar that was held in her mom’s home. Rubber stamping is Lisa’s first love and she trys to use it on as many different surfaces as she can that are not paper!

Ann Butler

Ann Butler is a licensed artist, social media influencer, instructor, and consultant for the creative industries. Her designs appear in multi-authored books, magazines, booklets, manufacturer trade show booths and websites. She has been teaching workshops and conducting seminars locally and internationally for the past 20+ years. She regularly is a guest artist on TV and web TV shows.

Additionally, Ann has a patented line of rubber stamps and licensed products with Rhinestone Genie, Earth Safe Finishes, Emerald Creek,  Unity Stamp Company, StencilGirl and ArtFoamies. She also has her own branded Paper Line, Die Cut Sentiments and Rubber Stamps. You can see projects using her product lines on the Bella blog and her Ann Butler Designs website.

Workshops begin on Wednesday April 17 at 9am and go through 5pm CST on Saturday April 20.

The event will conclude Saturday evening at 7:30pm CST with closing remarks, recognitions, and additional prize giveaways.

Please be aware that in the event an instructor becomes unavailable through no fault of their own, as we all know Life Happens…a substitute instructor will teach the workshop or a substitute workshop will be added. This has never happened at one of our events but needs to be put out there as I said Life Happens and we all do the best we can!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I get a refund? Sorry, there are no refunds. If your unable to be at the event Virtually during the event, everything will be available to rewatch when you are able.
  • Will I be able to get a class supply list or buy a kit? A class supply list will be available in the Facebook Group, which you will be invited to, at least one week prior to the event. Limited kits will be available from the instructors, these will also be listed in the Facebook Group and on the workshop page.
  • Can I make partial payments? No, payment has to be made in full at time of registration.
  • I don’t have a PayPal account.  Will I still be able to register and pay for the event?  Yes.  You do not have to have a PayPal account.  You can still pay through PayPal using a credit card without establishing an account.
