We are so excited to have Jo Pearson as our Artist to Artist. Jo, AKA Glitter Queen, is the Manager of Where Creativity Happens for Michaels Stores. Starting with Michaels in 1987 was just the catalyst of her creative career. You can read our full interview with her on page 18. Along with having the fabulous Jo in our current issue, we also have over 20 new craft ideas that range from paper crafting to jewelry and everything in between. Once again, we have our Cre8time project that shows you how to complete a project in 8 minutes or less, along with our business articles that will help you with your own craft businesses whether you’re a beginner or you’ve been in it for a while.
Our mission at Bella Crafts Publishing has always been to bring you creative projects and information on the craft industry. September will be a very busy month for us! Not only are we thrilled with the current issue of Bella Crafts Quarterly, we are over the moon about our brand new three day craft retreat, Bella Crafts Connections, that will be held at Mall of America on September 24th through the 27th. This craft retreat will have tons of workshops on a variety of craft interests and they are being taught by internationally known instructors in the craft industry. We also have over 30 sponsors for the event and each participant attending the show will go home with well over $200 worth of FREE craft products.
