With the winter season coming to an end I was looking forward to warmer weather and the pretty colors that come with spring. The colorful buttons and ribbons from Gwen Studios made this project perfect. I hope you give it a try. Crafty hugs, Lisa~
Steps One, Two, Three:
Die cut the flowers and leaves from multiple colors of Fun Foam. You can also use felt, paper, or fabric. Poke a small hole in the center of the flowers.
Choose three different sizes of buttons to coordinate with the colors of the flowers.
To attach the the flowers and buttons together, cut six colors of 24 gauge wires 15″ long.
Steps Four, Five, Six:
To create each flower, fold the wire in half and twist a small loop as shown. Thread the jewelry cap, the small, medium, and large buttons, and then the flower. Twist the remainder of the wire to the end. Use a glue gun to attach the leaves to the back of the flower.
Die cut the scalloped circle and the small circle with Blue cardstock. Next, die cut large circle with White cardstock. Adhere them together.
Stamp the sentiment with the Black inkpad. To finish, pour the glass micro beads into the glass bottle. Adhere the ribbons around the top of the bottle. Arrange the flowers in the bottle, cutting the ends of the wire into different heights. Use 22 gauge wires in Silver and Black approximately 20″ long. Wrap them around paintbrushes in different sizes to create the swirls. Attach the sentiment to the bottle with Silver thread.
