Working with digital images is very easy to do. If you have Microsoft Word and you know how to copy & paste, you can create beautiful cards and other paper crafts with ease. If that doesn’t make your heart flutter, using digitals are about 1/4 of the cost of traditional stamps & papers and storage is never a problem! Craft hugs, Lisa~
Supplies for Valentine’s Day Card with Digitals
Steps One, Two, Three:
Print the papers onto a lightweight cardstock as follows- pink dotted paper x 2, and large heart paper x 1. Using the box die, cut two pink dotted and one large heart papers.
Lay the pop up die along the score line and cut with die cutting machine. Fold along the score lines.
Print out two copies of the small heart paper. With the hearts facing you, turn the paper over and cut it out with the box die from the back. For the second paper make sure the hearts are facing away from you. Turn the paper over and cut it out from the back.
Steps Four, Five, Six:
This card uses pieces from each of the papers except the paper with the pop up. Cut the other pieces out with scissors as shown in the photo.
Press the red inkpad onto the pallet and use a paintbrush to pick up the color and add it to the papers. Spray with a clear sealer to set the ink.
Change the stamps to the sizes you want and print them out onto lightweight cardstock. Cut the images out with scissors.
Steps Seven, Eight, Nine:
Die cut two flourishes from red glitter paper. Next, die cut one grid from red glitter paper and one white glitter paper.
Adhere the heart papers to the pink dotted paper and adhere the other elements as shown. Apply glitter pen to the hearts.
To finish, cut a piece of pink cardstock 6″ x 12″ and fold in half. Cut red cardstock 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4″ and adhere to the card base. Apply a piece of lace, the two flourishes and the white grid to the card. Cut out the sentiment and adhere the small lips. Attach to the card base with foam tape. Add a small piece of Velcro to hold down the lid. See the finished photo for placement if needed.
