I save all of our old worn out jeans to new things…and this Upcycled Denim Pocket Purse is so much fun and Quick & Easy to make.

Here’s how to make your own:
Steps One, Two, Three, Four:
Gather your supplies.
Trim the jean pocket you want to use, close to the edge.
Working with the red rhinestones first…Tape off template if needed for the desired design of the pocket.
Place the template onto the tray.
Steps Five, Six, Seven:
Pour rhinestones out onto the template to cover.
Use the brush to move the rhinestones around, they will fall into the hole, like magic!
Once all of the desired holes are filled on the template, cover with hot fix tape. This is something you do in one quick motion, don’t hesitate.

Steps Eight, Nine, Ten, Eleven:
Press the hot fix tape with the brush or your fingers, firmly in place.
Slowly, pull the hot fix tape up at an angle…this way you can easily make sure all of the rhinestones are attached. If needed, place back down and rub over the rhinestone that was missed and continue.
Place the rhinestones onto the jeans pocks as desired.
Press with an iron for about 20 – 30 seconds.
Steps Twelve, Thirteen, Fourteen:
Peel the hot fix tape off and repeat with red rhinestones areound the pocket.
Repeat for the blue rhinestone and apply them to the pocket.
Use a star template for the clear rhinestone, repeat the steps and apply that to the jeans pockets.
Steps Fifteen, Sixteen, Seventeen:
Check to see if you want to add rhinestones anywhere else.
Glue trim to the back of the jeans pocket, to give it a finished look.
Add a Strap along the top edge.
Now it is time to for you create a cute Upcycle Denim Pocket Purse!

- Old Jeans
- Aluminum Tray
- Iron
- Trim
