This “Spring Has Sprung” pail is perfect for gift giving or even for kids to collect their eggs during an egg hunt!

I love everything about this project, from the pretty colors to the new round stamps and dies from Newton’s Nook Designs! I loved it so much that I made two for my younger granddaughters to use on Easter morning for their egg hunt. Do you have any ideas for this pail? Supplies for Spring Has Sprung Pail

Step One:
Using the circle dies from Newton’s Nook, die cut them on the white cardstock and patterned paper as shown in the photo.
Cut green cardstock 4 1/2″ x 12″ and another piece 4 1/2″ x 3″. Cut patterned paper 4″ x 12″ and another piece 4″ x 3″. Layer and adhere the papers together. These papers will go inside the pail in step 4.
NOTE: Since the pail is 15″ around and larger than the normal 12″ of cardstock, you need to piece the papers together so they will cover the inside of the pail.
Step Two:
Stamp the images with a black inkpad onto the white circles and color with watercolors. Fussy cut the round, floral image. Stamp, color and cut out three of the large floral images. Mat the large floral images with green cardstock. Adhere them together and cut out again.
Step Three:
Layer and adhere the images to the patterned papers as shown in the photo. Adhere the smallest circle to the medium circle to create a tag.
Step Four:
Punch a hole into the top of the tag, attach the yellow eyelet and add ribbon. To finish, adhere the three large floral images to the papers for the inside (see step 1), and put them inside the pail. Add some lace trim around the top of the pail. Adhere the floral circle to the lid and attach the tag.
