I love making cards that do something fun like pop ups, shakers, etc. and my holiday cards are no different. This card isn’t an interactive one. It’s actually a card that comes with a gift. The snowmen are ornaments that you can remove and hang them on a tree. This stamp and die set from Lawn Fawn are perfect to make ornaments with. I hope you give it a try. Have fun! Lisa~

Supplies for Snowman Card with Detachable Ornament

Steps One, Two, Three:

On a piece of white cardstock and a black inkpad, stamp all of the images out twice. Color the images with watercolor pencils.

Place the images into a laminating sheet and run it through a hot laminator.

Cut them out with the matching dies and die cutting machine.

Steps Four, Five, Six, Seven:

Attach the images together with foam tape. Cut some twigs and adhere them in between the snowmen with a glue gun. Adhere some white mini pom poms to the ear muffs and the hat. Make sure the snowmen’s accessories can be seen from the front and backsides of the snowmen.

Attach a jump ring to the top of the large snowman and the hat of the smaller one.

Add a piece of lavender tissue paper to the inside of a miniature basket. Use a glue gun to adhere the mini pom poms inside.

Cut out the word die three times from white cardstock. Cut one from the blue patterned paper. Adhere the layers together. Cut out the snowflakes from purple cardstock and blue patterned papers.

To finish the card, cut the snowflake frame from purple glitter paper. Next cut the pink snowflake paper 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, the blue patterned paper 4 1/2″ x 5 3/4″ and the bace card from purple cardstock 4 3/4″ x 12″ and fold in half. Adhere the papers together with a tape runner. Attach the snowflakes and sentiment to the card front. Add gems to the centers of the snowflakes. Use some ribbon for the ornament hangers and bows. Apply a small Velcro tab (or double-sided tape) to the backs of the snowmen and place on card front.
