We all have toilet paper rolls around the house so, instead of filling up the landfills why not save them to make craft projects? This simple recycled decoration by our guest blogger, Alessandra Arcangeli, is perfect for recycling those paper rolls. This project would also be great to work on with kids, grandkids and also church groups and girl scout groups.

3. Paint the toilet paper with acrylic paint, the colour is up to you. For this tutorial I used the white colour.

4. Fold in half every roll, as shown in the picture

5. Then with a stapler, staple together the 2 sides of the roll. Repeat for every roll.

5. Now staple together the 4 rolls and you have a sort of a ball.

6. Now you are ready to embellish the ball as you prefer. I suggest you of gluing in front of the ball a doily or a paper circle and then decor it with some stickers. Attach a ribbon and the decoration is ready!
