This card is perfect when you need to let someone you know how you feel about them but you don’t have a lot of time to make one. It takes less than 20 minutes to create but it doesn’t look like something you just threw together. The pretty ribbons are from Gwen Studios and you can find them at Walmart and Michaels. I hope you give this card a try. Have fun! Lisa~

Step One:
Cut the cardstock as follows- White 4 1/4″W x 5″H, Tan 4 1/4″W x 5″H, and Light Brown 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. You will also need small pieces of Tan, Blue and Black. Place the white cardstock inside the embossing folder and run it through a die cut machine. Repeat this step with the tan cardstock.
Step Two:
Cut one brown dotted ribbon 4 3/4″ and the second ribbon 5 1/2″. Adhere the ribbons to the white cardstock as shown, wrapping the extra ribbon around to the back of the cardstock.
Step Three:
Adhere the textured cardstocks to the base card with the fold at the top.
Step Four:
Using pieces of black and blue cardstock, die cut the “hugs” die. Die cut the two label dies from tan and blue cardstock. Adhere the “hugs” pieces together, and then adhere the labels. Stamp the saying onto the label with black inkpad. Attach all the elements to the card base. Use finished project photos for placement.
Step Five:
To create the ribbon flower, start with 1 1/2″ of the ribbon, fold it under to the edge of the ribbon and add a dab of hot glue to hold it in place. Now you have the first loop. Continue this step, turning the ribbon slightly with each loop as shown until you get the desired look. Adhere a button with a glue gun, and then adhere the flower to the card.
NOTE: If needed, iron the ribbon first. This makes it much easier to work with.
