Step One:
Cut back pockets from jeans, trimming close to the edge.
Step Two:
Tape off rhinestone template to desired size. Place onto aluminum pan and sprinkle rhinestones on top. Brush over rhinestones to move them onto the holes in the template.
Step Three:
Move the rhinestones toward one edge of the template and then, place the transfer tape over the rhinestones on the template.
Step Four:
Rub over the transfer tape to secure the rhinestones. Pull the transfer tape up at an angle to lift the rhinestones out of the template.
Step Five:
Place transfer tape onto denim pocket and then, press over the transfer tape for about 15 – 20 seconds with an iron.
Step Six:
Remove transfer tape to reveal the rhinestones on the denim pocket.
Step Seven:
Repeat until rhinestones are all around the denim pocket. Then, add any other rhinestone designs as desired.
Step Eight:
Glue trim onto the back of the denim pocket for a finished look, adding desired trim at the top of each side of the denim pocket for a strap for the purse.
Then…give the Recycled Denim Pocket Purse to a special little one to enjoy!
