Pom Pom Lorax Headbands was the perfect craft to make with this grandlittle girl!
With 14 grandlittles…I love when they are able to come and stay for a bit! Spending time with them one on one is a wonderful way to create memories and craft together!

These Pom Pom Lorax Headbands whip up quickly too!
Step One, two, Three:
Trace lid onto cardboard and cut out. Make two.
Place two strands of yarn between toilet paper tubes.
Wrap yarn around tubes 60 – 75 times.
Step Four, Five, Six:
Cut a piece of yarn about 24″ and fold in half. Wrap between tubes.
Tie tightly.
Remove yearn from tubes and tighten all the way, double knotting.
Step Seven, Eight, Nine:
Cut folded edges of yarn.
Put a hole into one of the cardboard disk. Place strands through disk with the hole.
Sandwhich yarn between both disk and trim the excess yarn away. Pull off the cardboard and full, trim a bit more if needed. Make a second pom pom in another color.
Step Ten, Eleven, Twelve:
Glue one end of ribbon onto the end of the headband, hold with a clothespin to secure.
Continue wrapping the ribbon around the headband, adding a dab of glue as needed. Secure at the opposite end.
Attach pom poms to the top of the headband and let dry.
Pom Pom Lorax Headbands Version Two
Step One, Two, Three:
Trace tube onto cardboard and cut out. Make two.
Place one strand of yarn around one toilet paper tube, about 100 times.
Pull off tube and tie a piece of yarn around the center.
Steps Four, Five, Six:
Cut folded edges of yarn.
Put a hole into one of the cardboard disk. Place strands through disk with the hole and trim excess.
Trim a bit more if needed. Make two more in two different colors.
Steps Seven, Eight, Nine:
Twist Pipe cleaners together. Cut into three.
Attatch beads onto one end of the twisted pipe cleaners.
Glue pom poms onto the other end of the twisted pipe cleaners. Secure to headband.
