The steps are easy so let’s get started…

Steps One, Two, Three:

I created an easy Pocahontas Dress for one of my granddaughters at her request and help. I simply used a brush faux suede and made a boxy style dress that we cut a V at the bottom and fringed along with the sleeves. Then I grabbed some Gwen Studios studded trim.

I started on the front and glued it close to the neckline.

Securing with clothespins to hold in place.

Steps Four, Five, Six:

Remove the clothespins when dry.

For the belt cut two pieces of fabric two inches by the width of the fabric and one piece of thrim the same length.

Add some Fabric-Tac on one end of the fabric pieces.

Steps Seven, Eight, Nine:

AFold the ends onto themselves as shown in photo.

Glue fabric pieces and trim together on one end. Use a clothespin to secure.

Braid the three pieces together.

Step Ten:

Measure the length needed plus two inches and adhere the ends.

Secur with a clothespin until dry. Add some Velcro Sticky Back for Fabric to each end.

For the bracelet measure the wrist and add an inch. Remove two of the studs on one end.

Apply Velcro Sticky Back for Fabrics to each end.

For the headband, measure the elastic to fit the head plus two inches. Apply the trim to the front of the elastic.

Glue the ends and overlap. Let dry.

Now you have created a fun Pocahontas Styled Outfit that is perfect for Halloween or just dress-up…for a special child in your life! Have fun!!
