I have to say that out of all of the interactive cards I have done, this was the easiest! The die set from i-Crafter made it super easy. Although I loved the dies in this set, I was really excited to try out the new i-Mend Self-Mending MAGNETIC PRO DECK also from i-Crafter. This magnetic die cutting surface is amazing and it will change how you die cut your images. I hope you have fun playing with a pinwheel card of your own. Have fun! Lisa~
Supplies for Birthday Pinwheel Card
Check out the complete supply list at the end of this post
Steps One, Two, Three:
Die cut the cardstock and patterned papers as seen in the photo.
Fold the medium blue cardstock along the score lines.
Once folded, adhere the medium blue cardstock together.
Steps Four, Five, Six:
Adhere the large scalloped patterned papers along each of the scored areas as seen in the step four and five photos. This is now the pinwheel card.
Layer and adhere the medium and small pieces of the scalloped papers as seen in step six. Now it’s time to decorate the card.
Steps Seven, Eight, Nine:
Die cut the words in dark blue cardstock and the outline of the words in yellow cardstock.
The dies in step eight are optional. The long thin die will add a pop up to the card and the other die is used to add a gift card or money to the card. You can place them in any part of the pinwheel card.
To create the cupcake, die cut the bottom in patterned paper, the top in the light blue cardstock and the candle in yellow cardstock. Die cut the stand in dark blue cardstock. Add some confetti to the top of the cardstock. You can also use the other dies that come in the set to decorate the cupcake. Adhere the elements to any part of the card. To finish, use some stickers or stamps to add to the card.
NOTE: I used a 12 x 12 patterned paper pack that included the stickers I used in this project.
