Bonjour Bella fans, Lisa Marie here to share with you my Paris in Fall necklace. Paris Necklace by Lisa Marie Jimenez

On the Bella blog this month we have a theme, “Paris in Fall” and this necklace incorporates the brown tones of the season. The graphic I use for this necklace was made from an actual photograph that was taken by someone very close to me while living abroad. In this tutorial I will show you how to make the resin domino. So let’s get started.

Supplies to make the Paris in Fall Necklace:

  • Black Domino
  • Paris Graphic 2”x1”
  • Xyron Sticker Maker 3” Machine
  • ETI Resin
  • Mod Podge
  • Crown Stamping 55mm
  • Charms: Paris, Fleur-de-Lis, Eiffel Tower
  • Glue on Bail (2)
  • Crystal Bead, Light Topaz, 10mm
  • Crystal Bead, Light Topaz, 8mm (3)
  • Crystal Bead, Dark Topaz, 8mm (3)
  • Rhinestone Rondelle Spacer Bead, 8mm (3)
  • Etched Jumpring, 8mm
  • Round Jumpring, 6mm (9)
  • Oval Jumpring, 6mm (2)
  • Lobster Clasp
  • Small Chain, Brass (18”)
  • Small Chain, Black (18”)
  • 20 Ga Wire, Vintage Bronze
  • E6000 Glue

Instructions:

1. Place the Paris graphic face up in the Xyron Sticker Maker. Pull graphic through and remove top film. Cut out the graphic, peel backing off and adhere to the blank side of the domino. Apply a coat of Mod Podge to the top and allow to completely dry.How to make Paris Pendant

2. Mix resin according to manufactures’ instructions. Using a clean stir stick apply the resin to the graphic, set aside to cure. How to make resin domino

3. Glue one bail to the bottom back of the domino and the second to the top back. Set aside to dry.

4. Cut a strip of wire. Make the first of a double wrapped loop. Before wrapping run the wire through the bottom bail on domino. Finish the wrap, trim and tuck end. Load 6mm lt. topaz, rondelle spacer, 10mm lt. topaz; make a wrapped loop.

5. Cut a strip of wire, make a wrapped loop end. Load 8mm dark topaz bead, make a wrapped loop adding the Eiffel tower charm to the loop.

6. Connect the fleur-de-lis, Paris and Eiffel tower charm to the end wrapped loop in previous step, using a 6mm jumpring for each charm.

7. Attach etched jumpring to the top bail on domino. Use a 6mm jumpring to connect the etched jumpring with the bottom of the crown stamping. If the stamping does not have a bottom hole, you will need to punch one, using a metal hole punch.

8. Cut a strip of wire and make a wrapped loop end. Load beads on wire in the following order: lt topaz, rondelle spacer, and dark topaz, make a wrapped loop.Paris in Fall Necklace

9. Use oval jumpring to connect the wrapped loop, in previous step to the left side of the crown stamping. Repeat for opposite side.

10. Cut the brass and black chain into 2 nine inch strips. Open 6mm jumpring and add the end link of the brass and black chain, connect to the top loop on the left side of crown. Repeat for opposite side.

11. Use a 6mm jumpring to connect the left side end links of chain. Repeat for opposite side. Connect the lobster clasp to the end of the chain using a 6mm jumpring.
