Step One:

Open Cricut’s Design Studio on your computer and pick the flowers you want to use. I suggest that you don’t pick anything with a lot of details. These flowers worked perfect! Next, find some leaf designs. I chose two different designs.

Step Two:

Cut a piece of the metal sheets 6″ x 6″. Place the metal sheet on a Strong Grip cutting mat. I started with a Standard Grip but didn’t have good results. The Strong Grip worked great. For my bouquet, I cut seven sets of the flowers in the different colors of the metal sheets. Cut the leaves from green and silver metals.

Step Three:

Using six different matching patterned papers, cut a set of flowers from each paper. Once you have all of your images cut out, start putting them together with a glue gun. Adhere a gem in the center of each flower.

Step Four:

These metal sheets are so thin and pliable. Use a stylus and foam mat to add veins to the leaves and then shape them with your fingers. Adhere the leaves to the backs of the flowers.

Step Five:

Place the silver leaves into a crimper to get some texture on the metal sheets. To finish the flowers, adhere wood skewers to the backs of the flowers. Cut them at various lengths to add dimension. To create the vase, I upcycled a Pringles can. Cover the can with patterned paper and adhere the green trim around the top and bottom. Create a tag and tie it around the vase with ribbon.
