Hello everyone! Martha Lucia here to share with you how to make simple cards. To be beautiful, a card does not need to be complicated; you only need to enjoy the process of making it. Take a look at my card:
Creating this card was very simple and easy:
- Cut the base of the card using Rose Red card stock. The size is 4-1/4″x11″ with score in 5-1/2″
- Cut a second layer using Whisper White card stock. The size is 4″x5-1/4″.
- Using a Itty Bitty Heart Punch, cut several small hearts using Rose Red and Blushing Bride card stock
- Take the whisper white layer and temporarily secure it over a graph paper. This paper will help you to align the hearts before pasting these over the layer.
- Alternating the colors of the hearts, star to paste it over the whisper white layer using a Craft & Hobby Glue. I used a Helmar brand because this is my favorite when I have to make detailed paper projects.
- After you finish three or four lines of hearts you can add a crinkle ribbon to decorate the border and your stamped sentiment. I used one from the stamp set Tin of Cards by Stampin Up. I stamped it using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and punched with a 1-3/4″ circle punch.
Super simple and easy, right? You can use the same formula with different kinds of punches or in a different way.
I hope my project inspired you to create Clear and Simple cards; these are beautiful and very fun to make!
See you soon!
