Spring is my favorite time of the year! I love gardens with colorful flowers, but since I was not blessed with a green thumb like my mom, I make my garden with paper and rubber stamps, just like the frame I created here. The best part is I can enjoy my garden all year long! I hope you give it a try. Crafty hugs, Lisa~
Supplies for “Into the Garden We Grow”

Step One:
On white cardstock, stamp the watering can, flower pots, shelves, seed packets, and tools with the black inkpad and apply color with watercolor pencils. Use the colored inkpads for the leaves and flowers. Die cut all of the images.
Step Two:
Turn the 12″W x 9″H canvas over to the back side. Paint the inside of the canvas with Yellow paint. Tip: An artist canvas makes a great inexpensive shadow box that you can display on an easel or add some ribbon to hang.
Step Three:
Cut a piece of patterned paper the size of the canvas. Apply the tape runner on the canvas and adhere the patterned paper. Cut the center out with a craft knife.
Step Four:
Cut a piece of Orange cardstock, 9″W x 6″H and a piece of Light Yellow cardstock, 8 3/4″W x 5 3/4″H. Adhere both pieces together with the tape runner. Apply a small amount of tape to the canvas and slide the papers inside. Arrange the stamped images and adhere them to the frame as shown. Attach the 3D flowers into the pots with a glue gun. To finish, use tape runner to add lace to the top and sides of the frame. Add fence, 3D flowers and lace at the bottom with glue gun. See finished photo for placement if needed.
