This mixed media piece is so quick and easy to create. But, just because it’s quick and easy, it doesn’t mean it has to look cheap . You can add a string of beads or ribbon to use as a hanger or create a card front with it. Either way you choose I hope you give it a try. Crafty hugs, Lisa~
Steps One, Two, Three:
Die cut the heart shape from Red glitter cardstock. Adhere 1/2″ Red buttons along the edge of the heart.
On the left side of the heart adhere two layers of 3/4″ Red buttons.
Die cut one piece of White matboard from the Sizzix Handbound Journal die and also from the floral patterned paper. Adhere both pieces together.
Steps Four, Five, Six:
Die cut “Celebrate Love” from Red glitter paper and Tan cardstock.. Adhere the sentiments together, offsetting the Tan sentiments slightly to the right.
Adhere a piece of paper ribbon to the top of the base.
To finish, adhere the heart and sentiments to the base. Add Gold wired thread to the buttons on the top, and then add some of the Gold thread to the heart lock & key. Adhere the buttons and the lock & key to the base ad add a Red bow to the top.
