As a designer it doesn’t matter if you’re creating a project to showcase a certain product or working on something for a book or magazine article, you always want to do your very best work. There are times when you finish, you sit back and say…Wow! This project is gorgeous! This card is one of those times for me. I truly love it and I hope you do too. Crafty hugs, Lisa~

Steps One, Two, Three:

Cut two pieces of Dark Turquoise cardstock, 10″W x 5″H and fold in half to create the base card 5″ x 5″. Cut a diagonal on each piece as shown in the first photo.

Adhere the two pieces of cardstock together.

Cut a piece of Light Turquoise cardstock, 4 3/4″ x 4 3/4″

Steps Four, Five, Six:

Lay a piece of foil on top of the toner papers with the color side facing up. Place the paper and foil into the clear carrier sheet and run them through the laminator.

Cut the foiled papers diagonally and adhere them to card base. Apply a thin line of glue on the bottom of the card to create a pocket.

Using the Black inkpad, stamp the floral image on White cardstock. Color the image with watercolor pencils and trim the paper to 4″W x 5 1/4″H. Cut the Light Turquoise, cardstock 4 1/4″W x 5 1/2″H and the Dark Turquoise cardstock, 4 1/2″W x 5 3/4″H. Adhere all of the papers together. Stamp the oval frame on White cardstock with the Blue Lagoon inkpad. Stamp the sentiment inside the oval with the Black inkpad and use the oval die to cut it out. Adhere the oval to the stamped image. To finish the card, adhere the lace, rhinestone trim, flowers and a bow to the card base and the insert with a glue gun.
