This Beachy Charm Bracelet was inspired by the Beach, which is also the theme for the month at the Bella Blog.
Spending time at the beach has also been a part of my life, as I live in California. Most of my favorite vacations have been at a beach location too. With this design, I opted for a softer more romantic look. To achieve that look, the colors I used were: brown, green patina, peach and cream. This bracelet has both a whimsical and soft look to it. Enjoy this tutorial, Lisa.

Instructions:
1. First we need to drill a top hole in the shells to be able to use them as charms. Mark the shell where you want the holes, with a sharpie marker. Place the shell in a shallow bowl with enough water in it to just cover the shell. Using a drill press or Dremel with a diamond bit, slowly start drilling the shell, on a low speed, while holding the shell tight with other hand. During drilling, lift the drill bit off of the shell and let the water flow over it. Do this several times during the process. Always wear safety glasses when drilling to protect your eyes.
2. Open a 9mm jumpring and attach it to the end of the double link chain. Open another 9mm jumpring, add lobster clasp, and then add it to the opposite end of the double link chain.
3. Lay out the double link chain on your work surface. Place the charms and seashells next to chain link you want to attach it to, making sure they are evenly spaced out. Use a 6mm jumpring to attach the charm/seashell to the chain link.
4. To make bead baubles: Load headpin with assorted beads, make a wrapped loop, trim and tuck end. Repeat this step to make 20 bead baubles. Randomly place the bead baubles onto the empty chain links using a 6mm jumpring.
5. Open the end link on the green patina oval chain and connect it to the end link on the double link cable chain. Repeat for opposite end.
6. Tie a small strip of sari ribbon to the end link on the chain. Trim ribbon and fray ends. I hoped you enjoyed my tutorial. When making bracelets like this, I use my “bead bowl” to make the bead baubles. My “bead bowl” is a bowl full of left over beads from projects. What can you make with your “bead bowl” or “charm bowl”? Be sure to check back to see more great designs by our Bella Team.
