Hello, friends! For my post this month I decided to create my Whale Be Friends Forever Card using this cute little whale stamp from The Stamps of Life.

With summer in full swing, everyone is heading towards their favorite vacation spot – the BEACH! I know not everyone lives in the USA that reads the Bella blog but here is a list of the top 5 US beaches.
Of course, I am sure it depends on who you ask but according to the Travel Channel the top 5 are:
1. Manele Bay, Hawaii
2. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
3. Nantucket, Massachusetts
4. Kauna’oa Bay, Hawaii
5. Clearwater Beach. Florida.
I personally like our Texas beaches, but that is because they are close. :)
So who likes to whale watch when hitting some of the larger beaches? I think that would be super fun. Have you been?

I started off cutting the card using a step it up card die.

I then used the coordinating die and cut the little whale out of a piece of gray cardstock I had in my stash basket.

I cut some smaller whales using my detail scissors. I also cut some waves out of a piece of blue cardstock.

I adhered the card together with my ATG gun. Of course at this point it was missing something. I tried adding some brown cardstock to represent the beach and it just wasn’t working. So I thought I would leave it alone and just add some embellishments. I pulled out my sequins and twine. I added a bow made of twine and a few clear blue sequins around the card front.
