Hello friends, Larissa here with a You’re So Cool summertime card for you today.

Summertime is here and everyone loves ice cream. Today I made a card using popsicles.

I used:

  • Reverse Confetti Let’s Chill Stamp Set
  • Reverse Confetti Let’s Chill Confetti Cuts
  • 3 different shades of cardstock
  • Swiss Dot embossing folder
  • Tombow Mono Multi Adhesive
  • Black Stamp Pad
  • Sequins

How I made the card:

  1.  Die cut 3 popsicles.
  2.  Emboss all three
  3. Adhere the popsicles to the card front.

I had so much fun with these popsicles. You could really use any color combo or use the same color.
Now I have a little extra something for you today.
My favorite homemade popsicle recipe! Usually, I put fruit in the blender, pour it into the popsicle molds and freeze. While I was looking at Pinterest one night I stumbled across this recipe and had to try it. I am so glad I did.

You will need:

  •  1 pound of fresh peeled, cubed pineapple. It ends up being about 4 cups. (FYI I have also used frozen pineapple)
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of vanilla bean paste
  • 1 pinch of salt
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Make sure to scrap the sides down.
  2. Spoon mixture into popsicle molds.
  3. Do not overfill.
  4. Freeze completely about 4 hours.
  5. Once you have unmolded the popsicle you can wrap them individually in plastic wrap to store in the freezer.

For a little extra, I will add coconut milk or flakes to give it the Pina Colada flavor.  Of course, you could do this with any fruit combo’s. Endless possibilities.
I hope you try and enjoy this recipe.

Have a wonderful day friends.
