Summer is here and so is the need for lightweight jewelry; this Ice Blue Nouveau Necklace is both stunning and lightweight for those hot summer days.

During these warmer months I find myself only wearing lighter jewelry. Just because the jewelry is simpler, does not mean it should not make a statement. Simple jewelry can be just as stunning as a big elaborate show stopper. In this tutorial, I will show you how to make the Ice Blue Nouveau Necklace so that you, too, can have a stunning summer accessory.

Close jumpring. Add a 4mm jumpring to the other end of the fleur connector. Repeat for the opposite side of the nouveau connector. Make sure the fleur-de-lis connectors are facing the same direction.

4. Load the eyepin with bead, trim and make a simple loop. Open a 6mm jumpring; connect the loop on the eyepin to the 4mm jumprings on the fleur connectors.

5. Cut the chain into to equal sections. Open a 6mm jumpring; add the end link of one section of chain, next the top loop on the bead, then the end link on the second section of chain. Close ring.

6. Use a 6mm jumpring to add the lobster clasp to the end of the chain. Add the last 6mm jumpring to the opposite side.
