It’s no secret that I love sunflowers! Just seeing them makes me smile. This foiled birthday card was created with toner papers by Ann Butler Designs and Deco Foils from Thermoweb. I designed this card with a fun laced-up design and I made a pattern for you to use to make threading the ribbon easier. I hope you give it a try. Crafty hugs, Lisa~

Steps One, Two, Three:

Cut a Yellow piece of cardstock 8″ x 8″. Print out the pattern at **100% and place it on top of the cardstock. Use a 1/4″ hole punch to punch out the holes. Score along the four dotted lines. Cut two pieces of ribbon 20″. Using the pattern for placement, adhere the ribbons to the Yellow cardstock.

Lay the Sweet Mango foil on top of the Sunflower toner paper and run it through the Fuse machine. Watercolor the foiled paper with watercolor pencils and paintbrush.

Add the Sweet Mango foil to the toner paper sentiments and run the through the Fuse machine.

**Note- Some printers are set to print at 91% as default. You can change the setting to 100% in your printer program. The holes will line up perfectly on the 8′ x 8″ cardstock.

Steps Four, Five, Six:

Cut the Blue cardstock 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and the Sunflower paper 5 1/4″ x 5 1/4″. Layer the papers and adhere them to the center of the Yellow cardstock as shown.

Lay the Royal Blue foil on top of the Flourish toner paper and run it through the Fuse machine. Use the triangle on the pattern, trace it on the back of the Flourish paper and a piece of Blue cardstock four times and cut them out. Adhere the Blue triangles to the inside of the card and the Flourish triangles to the front. Apply foam tape to the sentiments and adhere them to the card

Starting with the hole designated on the pattern, thread the ribbons through the holes on each side of the card and tie a bow as shown on the photo.
