Supplies for Easy Christmas Cards With Foils

See the end of this post for a complete supply list

Steps One, Two, Three:

Cut the Blue cardstock 12″W x 5″H and fold in half to create the card base 6″W x 5″H. Next, cut the snowflake toner paper 5 3/4″ x 4 1/2″ and the Merry Christmas toner paper 5″ x 3 3/4″.

Place the Blue foil onto the toner papers and run it through a hot laminator. Double foil* the snowflake pattern onto a Black toner paper. Cut the toner paper 5 1/4″ x 4″. Layer the papers and adhere them together. To finish the Blue card, decorate with rhinestone across the bottom and at the center of the snowflakes.

For the slimline card, cut the White cardstock 3 3/4″W x 8″H and the Black toner paper 3 1/2″W x 7 3/4″H. Cover the toner paper with the Silver foil and run it through the laminator. Adhere the Black foiled paper to the White card base.

Steps Four, Five, Six:

Cover three Black toner papers with Silver, Blue, and Red foils and run them through the laminator. Die cut the ornaments and the bows from the foiled papers.

On another piece of Black toner paper, double foil it with the White and Shattered Glass foils. Trace the ornaments onto the White foiled paper, cut them out, and adhere them to the backs of the ornaments. Die cut Merry & Bright from Red and Blue cardstock, and then die cut again with the White foiled paper. Adhere the words together with the White on the top, off-setting it slightly. To finish the slimline card, Attach the ornaments to the card base with foam tape and adhere the words in between the ornaments. Apply rhinestones randomly around the card.

Cut a piece of Red cardstock 9″W x 5 3/4″H. Fold in half to create the base card 4 1/2″W x 5 3/4″H. Next, cut the striped toner paper 4 1/2″W x 5 3/4″H and the Pine toner paper 4″W x 5 1/4″H. Cover the Pine toner paper with Silver foil and the striped toner paper with Red foil and run them through the laminator.

Steps Seven, Eight, Nine:

Use the scrap pieces of the Red and Green foiled toner papers to die cut the ornament, snowflake and Winter Greetings.

On another scrap piece of Silver foiled toner paper, lay the bottom of the ornament down and trace it with a pencil. Cut it out and adhere it to the back of the Red ornament.

To finish the card, adhere the Pine foiled toner paper to the Red striped toner paper, and then adhere those to the card base. Cut two pieces of Red ribbon 5 3/4″ and adhere them to the card base as shown. Next, adhere the ornament, snowflake and Winter Greetings to the card base.

You can create each of these cards in approximately 30 minutes and even though they don’t take much time to make, these stunning cards look like they take hours using beautiful toner papers and Deco Foils!
