This “You Are Sew Creative” card is perfect for crafty friends. It’s a playful way to celebrate creativity and let them know just how sew amazing they are.

If you’re looking for a great card to create for your sewing friends, this is it! I used sewing dies and some colorful buttons from Gwen Studios to make this card. It’s quick, easy, and “Sew” much fun. I hope you give it a try. Crafty hugs, Lisa~

Step One:
Use a pencil to trace the jar cover on a piece of Light Tan cardstock and cut it out. Die cut the scissor blades from Silver cardstock and the scissor handles from Blue cardstock. Next, cut two tomatoes and two strawberries from Red cardstock and the stems from Green cardstock for the pin cushion.
Step Two:
Attach the tomatoes and strawberries together with foam tape to give them a 3D appearance. Adhere the Green stems and the Blue handles to the scissors as shown. Use a mini Silver brad to the scissor blades. Adhere the buttons to the Light Tan cardstock as shown. Adhere a piece of Silver ribbon to the jar cover.
Step Three:
Place the jar cover on top of the Light Tan cardstock. Add a piece of Silver thread as shown. Use a computer and printer for the sentiment and layer it onto a 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ piece of Green cardstock. Cut the card base 4 1/4″W x 5 1/2″H from Light Tan cardstock. Adhere the patterned paper to the front of the card base. To finish, adhere the jar, pin cushion, and scissors to the card base. Apply foam tape to the sentiment and adhere it to the card base. Attach some buttons, straight pins, and a Red bow. See the finished photo for placement.
Note: You can also use a rubber stamp for the sentiment.
