Halloween is my family’s favorite holiday and we always have lots of fun activities planned every year. When my kids were little, I always made them a special gift for our yearly party and I carried on the tradition with my grandkids. Since my two eldest grandkids are almost adults I wanted to give them gift cards, and this Halloween Easel Card with the pocket panel on the inside is a great place to tuck a gift card or cash. The stamps and dies from Newton’s Nook Designs are absolutely perfect for this card. I hope you give it a try. Have fun! Lisa~

Step Two:
Stamp the spider web with the black inkpad onto the two white cardstock pieces. Use blending brushes with the orange and purple inkpads to add color around the spider webs. On a scrap piece of white cardstock, stamp the three witches and two bats. Color the images with watercolors and cut them out with the matching dies.
Step Three:
Die cut orange and purple glitter papers with the large scalloped oval. Die cut the green cardstock with large oval and the white cardstock twice with the medium oval. Use the small oval die to cut a piece of white cardstock (not shown). Tape the small oval die about halfway onto the patterned paper to form a notch for the gift card.
Step Four:
Fold the orange the cardstock along the score mark. Adhere the white cardstock to the front. Stamp “EEK!” and spider as shown. Adhere the orange glitter oval around the spider web. Attach the first witch and the bats to the cardstock with foam tape.
Step Five:
Stamp the word images onto the small and medium ovals with a black inkpad. Open the orange cardstock and adhere the purple and dotted patterned papers to the top. Adhere the other piece of white cardstock to the bottom and the purple glitter oval around the spider web. Attach both witches and word ovals with foam tape.
Step 6:
Open the black cardstock and adhere the orange cardstock on the top portion. Layer the two other patterned papers to the green cardstock and adhere them in between the score marks on the black cardstock. Stamp the sentiment on the white oval and layer it with the green cardstock. Attach the purple bat to the ovals and adhere to the bottom of the card with foam tape. Apply the glitter dots to the card. See the photos for placement.
