Elegant Embossed Candle

I absolutely love candles! Not only do they smell really good and create a calming environment, they can also add a touch of beauty and elegance to your home decor.

Supplies for Elegant Embossed Candle

Step One:

Cut a piece of white tissue paper 2 1/2″ x 6″. Using a VersaMark inkpad, stamp the images on the tissue paper.

Step Two:

Sprinkle gold glitter embossing powder over the stamped images. Shake off the excess powder and place it back into the container. Heat the images with the heat tool.

Step Three:

Place the stamped tissue paper into the Xyron Creative Station with permanent adhesive cartridge. Remove the tissue paper from the machine. Peel off the clear plastic covering and throw away. Leave the adhesive paper on the back of the tissue paper and cut out the stamped images.

Step Four:

Put the battery operated candle on a towel to prevent rolling. Remove adhesive paper from the back of the tissue paper and adhere to the candle. To finish, attach the heart faux suede trim around the top and bottom of the candle with E6000 glue. Cut 7-8 gold hearts from the trim and attach to the candle with E6000.

NOTE: Use a battery operated candle for this project. If you want to use a real candle, do not light it. Use for decorative purposes only.
