I’m not the best when it comes to buying gifts, so I have always loved giving gift cards. I know by giving a gift card, the recipient will always get what they really want and that’s one of the reasons I love this card. Steps One, Two, Three:

Cut white cardstock 3 3/4″ x 5″. Lay the die down and cut out. Use a pencil to mark the front and fold on each of the score marks. Turn the cardstock over, mark the back and fold down again. On another piece of white cardstock, die cut the tab and mark it also on the front and the back.

Steps Four, Five, Six:

With the backs of both pieces facing you, slide the tab on to the first score mark. Fold it over and add a piece of double-sided tape. Double up foam tape and apply to sides of the cardstock. Turn over and check to be sure the tab moves back and forth. Cut a card base from blue cardstock 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Attach the cardstock on top of the card base. Die cut the arrow tab from patterned paper.

Steps Seven, Eight, Nine:

Adhere the arrow tab to the white tab as shown. Die cut the gift card from patterned paper. Pull the tab on the card base all the way down.

Steps Ten, Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen:

Apply double-sided tape to the last score mark and attach the gift card. On white cardstock with a black inkpad, stamp, color and die cut the images. Die cut the tree from green cardstock and then black. Adhere both pieces together and adhere the gems to the tree. Add one of the penguins to the tab piece and attach gift card. To finish, cut a piece of patterned paper 3 7/8″ x 5 1/4″ and adhere to the card base. Add foam tape to the backs of the images and adhere everything on the card front.
