Hello and thanks for visiting today!  Did you know that November is National Gratitude Month?  For the past 5 years, I have been making Gratitude Journals.  It is such an easy and satisfying thing to do.  You literally count your blessings!  According to National Day Calendar, “Research has shown that gratitude can enhance our moods, decrease stress and drastically improve our overall level of health and wellbeing. On average, grateful people tend to have fewer stress related illnesses and experience less depression and lowered blood pressure, they are more physically fit, they are happier, have a higher income, more satisfying personal and professional relationships and will be better liked.”

This little Gratitude Journal is 3.5″ x 2.5″ and has 30 pages.  The perfect size for jotting down something every day.

It only takes a few supplies to make this book.  I used white cardstock, Tombow Dual Brush Pens and my Gelli Plate.

I scribbled different colors of markers on my Gelli Plate and spritzed them with water before placing the cardstock on top.  *You have to use water based markers for this technique*

Look at all of the yummy colors on my pages!!  Do this on both sides of your paper.

I also randomly stamped on some of the pages.  I made a little pocket on the front and back cover, to add little things, notes or tags.  My #1 thing I am grateful for are my boys.  But on day 5 I was grateful because there was one of my favorite flavored Pop Tarts left!

I hope you enjoyed my Gratitude Journal and I hope I’ve inspired you to make one too.  You don’t have to wait for November to count your blessings, anytime is the perfect time to start!
