This Glitter Glamour ring is easy to make using Ann Butler’s Iridescents.

Making a gift for a tween/teenager can be a little frustrating. What are they into these days? I wonder what she likes. Most tween/teenage girls love jewelry. This Glitter Glamour ring is cute and funky, which make them perfect for girls to wear.  In this tutorial, I will show you an alternative flower design, that could be used for the ring design. Supplies Needed for this Glitter Glamour Ring:

• Ann Butler Iridescents: Aquamarine, Berry, Tangelo[Tweet “Make a #tweem Glitter Glamour Ring by following this tutorial #jewelry #crafts #teens”]
• Earth Safe Finishes Gesso
• Brass Filigree Ring
• Lace Edge 18mm Setting
• Glass Dome 18mm
• Glitter: Turquoise
• Permanent Black Ink Stamp Pad
• Embossing Ink
• Embossing Powder: Purple
• Small Stamps: Heart, Flower
• Card Stock Paper: Cream
• Paint Brush
• Embossing Gun
• Glue
• Xacto Knife
• Scissors

Instructions:

1. Cut card stock into two, 2 inches squares or larger. Paint cardstock squares with Gesso, allow to dry.

2. When Gesso is completely dry, paint one square with Tangelo Iridescent and the other with Berry. Set aside to dry. If a second coat of Iridescents is needed apply and let dry. Repeat this step using Tangelo Iridescents on the second paper.

3. Use a permanent ink stamp pad to stamp the heart stamp onto the Berry paper. When ink is dry; paint the inside of the heart with Aquamarine Iridescent. Immediately sprinkle turquoise glitter over the paint. Turn the paper over and tap back of paper to remove excess glitter. Set paper aside to dry.

4. Stamp flower stamp with embossing ink and apply to Tangelo square. Sprinkle purple embossing powder over the flower, remove excess, and heat with the embossing gun. Set aside to dry.

5. Apply glue to the back of the glass dome and place over the center of the heart. Press down on the glass, set aside to dry. See Picture above for reference. Tangelo flower has glass glued.

6. Once glass dome is completely dry, use Xacto knife to cut around the rim of the glass dome.

7. Apply glue to the back of the lace edge setting and place in the center of filigree ring. Add a small amount of glue to the back of the glass and place in the center of lace edge setting. Prop ring up to dry.

Wow, these rings were easy to make! You can easily change the motif of the ring by using different stamps/glitter or paint colors.
