Hello dear friends, this is Martha Lucia with you today to bring a very unique project that you can make in a few minutes and you can use with a lot of themes and in different occasions to decorate your spaces or simply to adorn any corner.

Decorated Candle

Supplies:

  • Candle
  • Metal Sheet
  • Embossing Folder
  • Big Shot
  • Sand block
  • Paper Stump
  • Metal Brads
  • Measure Tape

Instructions:

  1. Take your measure tape and measure around the candle and add half inch. This will be the length of your metal.
  2. If you are using a border embossing folder take the size of the width and use this measure for the width.
  3. If you are using a normal embossing folder, determine the width you want for the belt on your candle and cut your metal in this size.
  4. Put your metal inside of the embossing folder and pass it through the big shot easily.
  5. Take the sand block and rub over the embossing to get a distress over the embossing parts. Clean with a dry towel.
  6. If you need to erase any mistake on the metal or enhance details of the embossing, you can use the paper stump.
  7. Now put the embossed metal around of the candle and secure the ends with the metal brads pressing firmly. Put your brads as close to the end as possible.

Now your candle is finished and you can use it. Just remember to take card with the metal and only flame the first part.

I hope you enjoy this project and come back soon for more ideas for your crafts. See you soon!
